YOU-th Update... Keeping You In The Loop 5-17-12 

-- Adult Leader Meeting: We'll be having our first leadership meeting of the 2012-2013 church year on May 20th (THIS SUNDAY) following the Morning worship service. If you are able to attend, please let Pastor Paul know.
 
-- Guy's Retreat: Friday June 8th we will be taking the first 10 guys who sign up on a weekend retreat geared just for you. We will be focusing on what it means to be men that God desires to use. See Pastor Paul to sign up and get more information. Cost is $25 and we will be leaving the church on June 8th at around 5:30pm and will return Sunday June 10th at approximately 12pm.
 
-- Regional BLAST: On Thursday June 14th, we will be leaving at 9:30 to go to MVNU for Regional BLAST. You will need lunch money for Thursday, but everything else should be taken care of if you are on the meal plan.
 
-- RADA Cutlery: If you are interested in participating in either of the missions opportunities listed below, we have another fundraiser you could be a part of. We have teamed with RADA Cutlery and this is an EASY fundraiser. All you have to do is pass this information along. If you or someone you know is interested in knives, utensils, cookbooks, food items, candles stoneware or other kitchen items you need to visitwww.helpourfundraiser.com. Once you're there enter our account number 503832 and the password: rooted (all lower case). Once you do that, you can shop and buy anything you wish. The items you purchase will get shipped straight to your door. If you have any questions with this, please see Pastor Paul. Pass this along to ANYONE. Everyone can help... even if they are not associated with our church.
 
-- Guatemala 2013: Yes, we are going back to Guatemala as a youth group in June of 2013. The dates we are looking at would be June 21st thru the 30th. If this is something that you are interested in going to or you just want more info, please sign up in the back of the gym. We will keep you informed on our meeting times and all the other planning. If you have questions, see Pastor Paul or Sean Johnson.
 
 -- Prayer Time: We now offer 3 different times and opportunities for you to pray with us. Wednesday nights we pray before the service (6:50), after the service (8:10) and now with the Sunday School teachers on Sunday mornings at 8:50. Come on out and spend some time in prayer with us.
 
-- Girlfriends Small Group: We have started a group for just girls 9-12th grade. The meetings for Girlfriends will be every 2 weeks starting at 5:45 and ending at 7:15.  The weeks we meet are alternating Sunday evenings opposite of Connection Groups. If you are interested in going to this contact Kimmie Orihel, Sama Gililland or CindyWoods or Tiffany Dennis for more information.
 
-- Coupon Card Fundraiser: We have started a new fundraiser. We are currently selling coupon cards. These cards have our church logo and the youth logo on the front. They are a lot like the "Jubilee" cards but are made more like a credit card. These cards are for sale for $10 each. The money will be used for a future missions trip that we will be doing in 2013. See Pastor Paul or some of the teens for more info.  If you would like to sell these cards, please see Pastor Paul for a sales sheet. 
 
-- Medical Release Forms: Medical Release forms are out and are good for one year (July 1, 2011 to July 1, 2012). These forms cover you for ANY trip, event or anything that we do. Please pick one up from the Youth bulletin board in the back of the gym or see the church website to print one off.If you are looking for one in the Youth Room, they are YELLOW in color and MUST BE filled out and notarized before you as a teen or your student go on any church related trip. -- Fundraiser: Yes, we are continuing to do the recycle fund raiser to raise money for youth events. It's no longer just cell phones and inkjet cartridges. We have received an updated list of things that they will accept. Check it out. Earn cash for every item guaranteed!
